Amputation Point of Contact (APOC)

Smaller VA medical centers without the expertise or resources to meet the rehabilitation and prosthetic needs of patients with amputation will ensure that at least one person is identified to act as the point of contact for consultation and assessment and refer the patient to a facility capable of providing the level of services required.
